3 Times When Seeking Mental Health Matters


The first is when you have thoughts, emotions or behaviors that are out of control, especially when they are affecting your relationships, your work/school or your overall well-being. Never feel embarrassed to ask for help at times when you are anxious, angry, or depressed.

When you feel that life is no longer worth living, that you are hopeless and feel like you can't go on, and you would rather die than feel the pain of the present. This is a red flag. Ask for help. You can call or text to make an appointment or call or text the national suicide line 988. Call 911, your life matters!

The third is when alcohol or drugs interferes with your health, your feelings, your relationships, your job or your education.
